Hi, my name is Gemma and I am a Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist. I am passionate about deep meaningful work with my clients and absolutely love my work. I am a mother, a wife and I am Autistic. Not knowing I was autistic, was extremely challenging to me during my life. It led me to have a deep understanding of myself and others. I have spent my life trying to ‘figure myself and others out’. With a late adult diagnosis, the word Autism has been a complete game-changer for me. Like finally putting on the correct glasses so I can see clearly. So it is my absolute pleasure to work with Thriving Autistic, to have the opportunity to walk with you on your own journey towards better understanding yourself. Whatever your challenges are, whatever your problems, I will be with you to guide you to healing and integration. I am very experienced in working with PTSD which can so often be a part of an Autistic’s life experience. My therapeutic framework is Person Centred, Psychothsynthesis, Jungian and Body Somatics.
No matter what you are going through, I will support you and work with you to become your true self and your thriving self. I am looking forward to meeting you.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Physics (B.Sc) from N.U.I Maynooth and a Graduate Diploma in Humanistic and Psychotherapy (Grad. Dip Psychotherapy) from D.C.U & Turning Point. I am fully accredited with IAHIP.
