Course Themes:

Week 1

Identity

Welcome to Illuminate! Let’s get to know each other and share some of our stories so far. We’ll discuss the realisations we’ve had, the identities that feel good to us, and how that might have evolved over time, as well as what we’d still like to explore.

Week 2

Community

Being LGBTQIA+ is way more fun together. This week, we’ll discuss how we can access the LGBTQIA+ community. And dream up how we’d love it to look! If it doesn’t already exist, what could we create?

Week 3

Queer Joy

Everyone needs more queer joy! A celebratory week, sharing inspo and what lights us up. (Optional: You might like to create something to share in the final session - a poem, a song, a piece of music, a drawing, a letter to your self, or anything else you'd like! There's absolutely no pressure to do this though!)

Week 4

Empowerment

In the final week, we’ll share strength and hope, looking at how we live our lives in a way that celebrates our LGBTQIA+ identity and thinking about next steps.
