About Lori

My name is Lori Seeley and I am the owner of a group practice in Kamloops, BC that provides services to youth and adults. I originally trained as an Occupational Therapist but later pursued both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Clinical Social Work, to fulfil a dream of providing counselling. I have co-authored a book for Parents and Teachers to increase understanding of sensory seeking and avoiding in Autistic Children and adaptations to support children with sensory differences.

I am neurodivergent and our group practice specializes in supporting other neurodivergent individuals, although our clinicians have broad clinical experience and can support a wide range of requests for counselling and services.

The Structure

TherapyWorks Neurodiversity Services and Counselling Associates offers individual, family and group therapy and counselling services.

We also provide tutoring and specialized educational support, life skills, executive functioning support, interest-based social engagement groups, body doubling, case management and parent education.

Over the past several years we have offered a number of exciting group therapy programs, including escape room building, improv, Therapeutic Theatrics, escape room building, Hero Makers Studio, Dungeons and Dragons, and Hangouts. We are looking forward to offering new programs in the coming year with even more interest-based opportunities.

Many of our clinicians identify as neurodivergent, including Autism, ADHD, OCD, anxiety, sensory processing and executive functioning challenges, and learning disabled.
